Salt Creek Therapy Center (SCTC) is a distinctive group of leading independent community Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatric Social and other providers who are committed to serving the behavioral health needs of the local communities.

Founded by Akram Y. Razzouk, M.D., in 1983, SCTC has grown to be the largest group of mental health professionals in Hinsdale, Illinois, and by far the most stable.

The mission of SCTC is to be the leading provider of quality behavioral health services and source of preventative information in the communities we serve. We strive to provide to those in distress timely caring assistance in a pleasant, efficient, and friendly atmosphere. Our goal is to enable individuals and their loved ones to overcome difficulties and restore balance to their life.

Our philosophy of care and caring is rooted in our belief that health related decisions are primarily local in nature, and that the emotional and behavioral needs of most patients are best met by friendly, accessible, caring and affordable clinical professionals in the local communities. Towards fulfilling these needs, Salt Creek Therapy Center reaches out to partner with primary care physicians, local hospitals, health maintenance organizations, insurance carriers and other health organizations to ensure that our patients receive quality and timely caring assistance.

At SCTC we realize the importance of good communication not only with our patients and their families, but also with referring providers, hospitals, insurance companies, HMOs, medical groups and others who impact our ability to serve the needs of patients in our communities.
